Who is Buddy?

Buddy the technician

Prologue - (1998) I acquired a 2nd degree in technology and worked my way through corporate. Y2K happen, nobody died,
2004 my boss told me you have to go to America for six month! (Oh boy...)

Act 1 (2004): I arrive on U.S. soil with a backpack, a fledgling resume, and a vague notion that "cloud" means "weather forecast."

Act 2 (2004-2009): I get a job at a Silicon-Valley high-tech firm, where "synergy" actually meant "we've ordered a lot of coffee." My official title? "Junior Widget-Wrangler." My unofficial title? "Person who fixes the printer when the intern's dad-joke overload crashes the network."

Transition (2009): The tech-company's Wi-Fi started buffering, so I pivot to Feeding America-because who needs debugging code when you can debug a pantry's inventory system? I spend seven years feeding hungry folks, which honestly made my spreadsheets less "silicon" and more "spaghetti."

Act 3 (2016-2025): I retire from the corporate zoo, ditch the 9-to-5 for the wild, wild west of independent consulting. Now I'm the person you call when your phone says "I need a reboot!" and you reply, "I thought you were the reboot."

2026 Update: I'm still alive, still caffeinated, and still trying to figure out whether "Gen-X" means "expert at using a flip phone to look up Wi-Fi passwords."

Moral of the story?
If you ever feel like you're stuck in a career that's as outdated as Windows 98, just remember: you can always become an "independent contractor" and then spend the rest of your days explaining to people why "the cloud" isn't a storm you can bring an umbrella for.

BTW, the funny guy in the picture is buddy.
